This website, smartdehook.com, is owned and operated by KMSE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as SmartDehook. We sell fishing hook removers and related angling accessories.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. and payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., both of which operate under their own terms of service.

Products and pricing
We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including images, dimensions, and specifications. Minor variations in colour or finish may occur due to monitor settings. Product images are for illustrative purposes.
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change at any time without notice. The price you are charged is the price confirmed at checkout. Promotional discounts are valid only during the stated promotional period. We reserve the right to cancel orders placed at incorrectly listed prices due to technical errors.
Orders and payment
Once you place an order, you will receive an automated order confirmation email. This confirms receipt of your order — it does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel any order after confirmation in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud, with a full refund issued.
We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods available at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. using PCI-DSS Level 1 encryption. We do not store your card details on our servers. Your card is charged at the time of order placement.
You agree to provide accurate billing information. Providing false or inaccurate information may result in order cancellation and may be reported to relevant authorities in cases of suspected fraud.
Shipping and delivery
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times vary by destination:
- United States: 7–18 business days
- United Kingdom & Europe: 5–14 business days
- Rest of world: 10–25 business days

Returns, refunds and cancellations
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us at support@smartdehook.com within 30 days to initiate a return.
- Items must be returned in their original or reasonable condition
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly sent
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of misuse or damage not caused by a product defect

Chargebacks and disputes
We take chargebacks seriously. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may be considered fraud, particularly where goods were delivered as described. We maintain full records of all orders, tracking, and communications, which will be submitted to the payment processor in any dispute.

Product safety and liability
